We are so thankful to all of our families for sharing information about our school tours with friends and the community. The final tour this year is on Tuesday, May 21. Our end-of-year Early Childhood Information Session for prospective families is June 17, and June 24 for Grades 1-8. Due to the closing of Mount Carmel-Holy Rosary School, we have created special tours for MCHR families. Please direct families to contact our office.

To date, over $17,519 has been collected from 116 families/230 donors. Please continue to spread the word to friends, family, local businesses, and corporations. Your efforts are appreciated. We thank Miss Janet for organizing this fundraiser in support of our great school. We are asking for pledge sheets and monies to be returned by Friday, June 6. Each $125 donation earns 10 dress-down days (please store NUT Card in a safe place at home) to be enjoyed now through Thursday, November 6, 2025.

The Spring Concert will take place on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 PM at St. Joseph’s Church. Attendance at the concert is mandatory for Grades 1-8 students.

We are halfway to our goal of $500 for the year! There are a couple of
promotions right now to finish the year strong! The first one is Teacher’s Month - buy 4 products and earn 20 bonus Box Tops! The second one is the May challenge - buy any 9 Box Top products and earn 18 bonus Box Tops! Nature's Valley, Annie's, and Pillsbury are also offering bonus Box Tops! Check out the App for details!

Rehearsals will continue on Fridays through June 6, with the exception of May 23, when school is closed. Over the next two rehearsals, the choir will be learning, among other pieces, a beautiful setting of Ave Maria by Jacob Arcadelt. The choir will sing at the Family Masses on Sunday, June 8 – Pentecost. Thank you for your continued support of the Family Mass Choir!

The Grade 8 students will attend the Manhattan Region Catholic Schools Graduation Mass on Wednesday, May 21, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The welcome address will begin at 10:15 AM and the Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Mr. Troll will be emailing Grade 8 parents with the invitation shortly. If you have not returned the permission slip, please do so tomorrow.

Join our Academic Dean, Jaclyn Juers, on May 20 to learn more about the transition from our Grade 4 to Grade 5. Learn more about the curriculum, schedule, and skills for your child next year. We look forward to immersing you in a view of our program and helping answer your questions about the expectations for next year. The meeting will begin at 8:10 AM.

Tickets for children’s activities will be available for purchase on the day of the street fair, starting at 10:00 AM. Visit the ticket sales table in the children’s activities area to purchase your tickets! Tickets are priced at $1.00 each/$20.00 for 25 tickets. Please note that only cash payments will be accepted.

The Bake Goods Committee is seeking families willing to donate only store-bought baked goods for the Street Fair Bake Sale. Items may be dropped off in the auditorium on Friday, May 16 or early Saturday morning between 8:30 – 10:00 AM during setup (before the street fair begins). Due to insurance requirements, homemade items are not permitted.
