HSA Overview and Goals
The St. Joseph's School - Yorkville Home School Association (HSA) is a parents’ association, partnered with its faculty, dedicated to enriching our school through the involvement of all in a variety of activities and events. In celebrating and supporting St. Joseph's School - Yorkville, HSA embraces the core values of community, commitment, and communication. With this focus, we help enrich our children's education and school life. School life benefits immeasurably from the year-round support of our students' parents and faculty.
Opportunities abound for volunteers to serve St. Joseph's School - Yorkville and share in its spirit. Plenty of planning goes into the many activities. During the month of September, chairpersons and co-chairpersons will be selected for the different sub-committees adding to the initial list of chairpersons started last spring. These individuals will be the contact persons throughout the planning process and actual event. At least one of the individuals, if not all, should attend monthly meetings.
Each volunteer will have an opportunity to participate in monthly brainstorming, planning, and organizing for each event in which they are involved. HSA meetings are held on a regular basis and all parents are welcome to attend.
